Solana errors
Solana methods return upstream errors in the standard JSON-RPC
{jsonrpc,id,error} envelope. Triport's own product errors (auth, tier, rate
limit) are plain HTTP responses decided before the RPC layer — see the
shared error reference.
Endpoint and plans: Solana RPC endpoint.
Common Solana-specific cases documented by the method pages are:
-32602for malformed base58 public keys, invalid configs, invalid filters, and stale or unknown subscription IDs;- HTTP
403tier_insufficientwhen a key cannot use a gated category such assol_das; theX-Required-Tierheader carries the minimum tier; - HTTP
429rate_limitedwhen category RPS is exceeded; honorRetry-After; - WebSocket application code
4029when the subscription rate is exceeded.
Do not turn a normal null result or an empty account into an error. Individual
method pages document method-specific validation and upstream errors.
The errors you are most likely to meet each have a page with causes and fixes:
-32015transaction version not supported, ongetTransactionandgetBlock: addmaxSupportedTransactionVersion;-32002transaction simulation failed, onsendTransaction: the reason is inerror.data;-32016minimum context slot not reached;- HTTP
401for a missing or unknown key.
Failures inside a transaction come from the runtime or a program, not from the RPC layer: computational budget exceeded, insufficient funds for rent and custom program errors.
