Network nameRobinhood Chain
Chain ID4663 (0x1237)
Currency symbolETH — getting ETH for gas
RPC URL (header auth)https://triport.io/rpc/robinhood
RPC URL (keyed, for wallets and config files)https://triport.io/r/<API_KEY>/robinhood
WebSocket URL (keyed)wss://triport.io/ws/robinhood/<API_KEY>
Triport keyless public URLhttps://triport.io/public/robinhood — 15 req/s reads, 3 req/s transaction sends — one budget shared by every caller; no key, no WebSocket
Block explorerhttps://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com
Public RPC (network-operated)https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com — no key, rate-limited; Robinhood Chain public RPC vs a keyed endpoint
TestnetChain ID 46630 (0xb626) — not served by Triport; values in Robinhood Chain testnet

Chain ID, currency, explorer and the public URL are the values the network publishes; the Triport URLs need an API key. Endpoints and plans: Robinhood Chain RPC endpoint.

Generate your config

Adds https://triport.io/public/robinhood with chain ID 0x1237 through wallet_addEthereumChain (EIP-3085).

Keys in URLs vs headers

A keyed URL is the same credential as a header, in a less private place: it lands in shell history, CI logs and screenshots. Use it only where a header is impossible (wallets, hardhat.config, foundry.toml), send x-token from server code, and rotate a key that leaked.

Robinhood Chain testnet: Arbitrum Orbit testnet of Robinhood Chain; its sequencer feed is wss://feed.testnet.chain.robinhood.com. Triport serves mainnet only. These values are for switching your config; they are not Triport endpoints. The network names no official faucet on its connecting page; the Robinhood Chain testnet guide: faucets and switching to 4663 (also Robinhood Chain explorers and bridge ETH to Robinhood Chain) covers getting test ETH and moving a config to mainnet.

Verify the connection

Call eth_chainId first: it must return 0x1237. Wallets reject a network whose chain ID disagrees with the configured value, so this one call explains most could not add network errors. Then read the quickstart for the first real request. Connected to the testnet by mistake? The same call answers 0xb626 there (chain ID 46630).

eth_chainId returns something other than 0x1237The URL points at a different networkCompare the URL with the table above; 0x1237 is the only mainnet answer
Hardhat or Foundry reports a chain ID mismatchchainId 46630 (testnet) in the config while the URL is mainnet, or the reverseSet chainId: 4663 for a mainnet URL; keep testnet values in a separate network entry

FAQ

What is the Robinhood Chain chain ID?
4663 (hex 0x1237) for Robinhood Chain mainnet. The testnet uses 46630.
Is 4663 Robinhood Chain mainnet or testnet?
Mainnet. The testnet is a separate network with chain ID 46630, its own public RPC and its own explorer; a config that mixes the two fails the chain ID check.
How do I add Robinhood Chain to MetaMask?
Add a network manually with chain ID 4663 (0x1237), currency ETH, the Triport RPC URL in its keyed form and the Blockscout explorer. The MetaMask tab above produces the exact wallet_addEthereumChain payload.
Why does the RPC URL contain my key instead of a header?
Wallets, hardhat.config and foundry.toml cannot send a custom header, so they use the keyed URL form. Server-side code should send the x-token header instead and keep keys out of URLs and logs.
Can I use a Triport URL without a key?
One: https://triport.io/public/robinhood, the keyless test URL — 15 req/s of reads and 3 req/s of sends shared by every caller, no WebSocket. The keyed URLs answer HTTP 401 without their key, so a wallet cannot read the chain ID through them. The network's own public RPC, https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com, is keyless too and documented as rate-limited and not recommended for production use.
Is my key sent to Triport when I use this page?
No. The snippets are generated in your browser: the key is never submitted, never stored and never written into the page URL, which is why this tool has no shareable link.
Where do I get ETH for gas?
Gas on Robinhood Chain is paid in ETH that you bridge in — the canonical route deposits from Ethereum L1, and partner bridges exist. The Getting ETH for gas page in the Robinhood Chain documentation lists the routes.
Does this work for the Robinhood testnet?
No. Testnet chain 46630 exists publicly, but Triport publishes mainnet (4663) only — point test work at the network's own testnet endpoint.
